Privacy Notice Vortex Water Technology acknowledges the importance of protecting our customers' privacy, and are dedicated to ensure and secure privacy of our customers. To secure and protect our customers' privacy, Vortex Water Technology uses the latest SSL technology, and implements Login Name and Password authentication for customers to access private information. Customers should never share their Login Name and Password with anyone. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Technology SSL is Internet standard used to transfer information securely across the Internet. SSL establishes a secure channel between visitor's browser and the web-server in which SSL is installed. Through this channel, sensitive information such as credit card numbers can be exchanged securely. In such case only the contact, and purchase information may be shared. Use of cookie and URL capture Vortex Water Technology will use cookie to provide more convenience to customers. Also Vortex Water Technology will use URL capture in order to protect both customers and Vortex Water Technology from malicious credit card fraud crimes. If necessary, the information collected may be provided to law enforcing agencies. Credit Card Vortex Water Technology not only does not store customer?™s credit card information in its database, but do not share such information with any other party. Even though we implemented every possible measure to protect customer?™s information, we feel that customers¡¯ sensitive information such as credit card information would be safer by not storing such information in our database. Hence, customers are required to type in credit card number every time to complete ordering. Credit Card processing When completing an order, a customer will be directed to our 3rd party credit card processing company's secure page. Customers' credit card verification and authorization will be performed on the third party site. Upon completion, a customer will be redirected to Vortex Water Technology to complete the order. Transmission Errors or Unauthorized Acts Although Vortex Water Technology will use all reasonable measures to protect your personal information, transmissions made by means of the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure. Vortex Water Technology will not be liable for disclosures of your personal information due to errors in transmission or unauthorized use by third parties. Change of Ownership In the event that ownership of Vortex Water Technology is changed, the information that has been collected may be transferred to the new owner or owning parties. Shipping & Returns Shipping Rates: - the delivery option you choose - the weight, size and dimensions of your items The majority of our items are shipped via FedEx, DHL and UPS. In case an items may be shipped by a variety of carriers. Orders are usually shipped within 24 ~ 48 hours from the order confirmation, and will take 3 to 6 business days depending on the shipping address Return Policy: Vortex Water Technology gives 60 days to return any unopened items. Contact us within 60 days from the receipt of goods, and get return authorization. The full price of the order less the shipping charge will be credited back to customer. Order Cancellation: Because Vortex Water Technology does not store credit card information in the database, a customer cannot cancel through Internet once the order is confirmed. A customer has to contact our representative via email or phone to cancel the order with in the same day. Once the order has been shipped, the customer cannot cancel the order. He has to wait until the item to be delivered, and call us back, and get return authorization. Payment Information: We accept American Express, Discover, Visa, and Master Cards. Due to an increasing number of credit card fraudulent cases, we implemented strong measure to filter any kind of wrong doing, including but not limited to Address Verification System (AVS). APO & FPO Addresses: Since Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) addresses are not accepted by our carriers, please note that we cannot be shipped to APO/FPO and P.O Box. Addresses. International Customers: As of now, we only ship to customers in the US, except Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Island. If you are ordering from outside of the US, or in the above listed states, please contact us. TAX: 9.25% of California State sales tax is applicable for the shipping addresses in the State of California.
